Balakrishna Jaggi in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iladhara Dango, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bala Chattophadhyay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iladhara Dango came out and tried to block the shot, but Bala Chattophadhyay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. If Harsavardhana Chavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balakrishna Jaggi in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iladhara Dango saved Snakes & Foxes from getting behind. Govind Sahu charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Govind Sahu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Govind Sahu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Snakes & Foxes's goalkeeper Iladhara Dango had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balakrishna Jaggi. In the 22nd minute, Ksitendra Dambria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Snakes & Foxes's Iladhara Dango proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Snakes & Foxes from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Belvedere FC booed when Snakes & Foxes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harsavardhana Chavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Balakrishna Jaggi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iladhara Dango was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Iladhara Dango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bala Chattophadhyay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Belvedere FC's Balakrishna Jaggi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iladhara Dango made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Snakes & Foxes's goalkeeper Iladhara Dango had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balakrishna Jaggi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balakrishna Jaggi in the 41st minute of play forced Snakes & Foxes's goalkeeper Iladhara Dango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Balakrishna Jaggi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belvedere FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balakrishna Jaggi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Balakrishna Jaggi to strike the kick off in the second half. If Baladhika Som had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Balakrishna Jaggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iladhara Dango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 played minutes Snakes & Foxes got a freekick which was hit by Anantharaman Rajput. Iladhara Dango stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balakrishna Jaggi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Harsavardhana Chavan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Balakrishna Jaggi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iladhara Dango was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ksitendra Dambria hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Akhilendra Bhudraja took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iladhara Dango. Snakes & Foxes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Belvedere FC's Balakrishna Jaggi in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Snakes & Foxes's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Snakes & Foxes getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Anantharaman Rajput hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Belvedere FC were the better team. Belvedere FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
