The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Shankar Naik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paramveer Toor was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Shankar Naik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shankar Naik really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Shankar Naik, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Paramveer Toor was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vijai Thiara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hari Paranjpe in the 16th minute of play. Vijai Thiara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jawaheer Rathore in the 18th minute of the match. When Jawaheer Rathore came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Chelsea fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jawaheer Rathore couldn't finish the play. In the 20thth minute of the game Hari Paranjpe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diss's Vijai Thiara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vijai Thiara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narinderjeet Mallik in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hari Paranjpe in the 36th minute of play forced Diss's goalkeeper Vijai Thiara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Chelsea fc's Paramveer Toor got control of the ball when Amirtharaj Rahul tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shankar Naik in the 38th minute of play forced Chelsea fc's goalkeeper Paramveer Toor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea fc's zone, Shankar Naik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paramveer Toor came out of the goal and Shankar Naik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Amirtharaj Rahul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diss's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amirtharaj Rahul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amirtharaj Rahul in the 82nd minute of play forced Chelsea fc's goalkeeper Paramveer Toor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hari Paranjpe in the 94th minute of play forced Diss's goalkeeper Vijai Thiara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chelsea fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Diss.
