Spectators: 7717 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 150) Swinton's Teju Chaddha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kovalan Rahul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teju Chaddha in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Digbhraja Salve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SHARPNEL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Digbhraja Salve came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the SHARPNEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Digbhraja Salve couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Swinton's Guruswamy Sehgal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kovalan Rahul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Guruswamy Sehgal came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Swinton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guruswamy Sehgal couldn't finish the play. Swinton's Teju Chaddha got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teju Chaddha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kovalan Rahul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Swinton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aksamata Bajwa to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Swinton's goal looked a bit too open when Amandip Holkar came free, but Kakunda Pant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Swinton's Kakunda Pant got control of the ball when Digbhraja Salve tried to sneak it across the goal line. SHARPNEL's Amandip Holkar got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guruswamy Sehgal might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kovalan Rahul. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guruswamy Sehgal ran back to his position shaking his head. When Damin Grewal came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Swinton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damin Grewal couldn't finish the play. Swinton's Guruswamy Sehgal got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Teju Chaddha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Amandip Holkar made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SHARPNEL getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ajit Sarang hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Guruswamy Sehgal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SHARPNEL's Kovalan Rahul. Kovalan Rahul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amandip Holkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kakunda Pant came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by SHARPNEL's Digbhraja Salve. But to his dismay, Digbhraja Salve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ajit Sarang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kakunda Pant having to interfere. Swinton's Kakunda Pant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amandip Holkar in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Swinton's Brahmamurti Ram got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Swinton's zone, Amandip Holkar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kakunda Pant came out of the goal and Amandip Holkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Swinton getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Brahmamurti Ram hit a great ball. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SHARPNEL! Kovalan Rahul had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Aksamata Bajwa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Teju Chaddha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kovalan Rahul didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Swinton's Teju Chaddha shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Digbhraja Salve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, SHARPNEL's Digbhraja Salve sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kakunda Pant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ajit Sarang came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the SHARPNEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ajit Sarang couldn't finish the play. Jayalakshm Pujari kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Digbhraja Salve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Kakunda Pant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Digbhraja Salve in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kakunda Pant saved Swinton from getting behind. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
