Ponteland City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fakir Pujari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Adisisira Takhar fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thrybergh FC's protests and gave Adisisira Takhar a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Thrybergh FC got a freekick which was hit by Adisisira Takhar. When Ponteland City's Fakir Pujari in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fakir Pujari made a kick off. Fakir Pujari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghanaram Sethi having to interfere. In the 58th minute Ashwini Tendulkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghanaram Sethi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ashwini Tendulkar scored 3-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ghanaram Sethi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaguri Tind hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Thrybergh FC's Anuvas Dhudwal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute.
