The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Citaka Chahal helped the player get up and apologised. Citaka Chahal hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 played minutes Lavenham got a freekick which was hit by Jaishankar Ghosh. In the 9th minute, Jaishankar Ghosh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dahanavardhana Ayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Huddersfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaskirat Lanong to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaishankar Ghosh in the 16th minute of play forced Huddersfield's goalkeeper Agnibha Shindi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jaskirat Lanong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huddersfield's Dahanavardhana Ayer got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaskirat Lanong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Indradatta Sran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Dahanavardhana Ayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Indradatta Sran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lavenham's zone, Jaskirat Lanong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Indradatta Sran came out of the goal and Jaskirat Lanong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Indradatta Sran was a little too slow when Dahanavardhana Ayer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. Akra Mendes hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jaskirat Lanong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Indradatta Sran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dahanavardhana Ayer in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Indradatta Sran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 48 minutes into the match, Lavenham's Kacangala Bharadwaj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agnibha Shindi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dahanavardhana Ayer made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dahanavardhana Ayer in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Indradatta Sran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 53 minutes, Jaskirat Lanong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huddersfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaskirat Lanong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute Kacangala Bharadwaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnibha Shindi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Huddersfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akra Mendes to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Lavenham's Kartar Sanghera tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Kacangala Bharadwaj came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Lavenham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kacangala Bharadwaj couldn't finish the play. If Golaki Chhugani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kacangala Bharadwaj in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agnibha Shindi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Golaki Chhugani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, Dahanavardhana Ayer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huddersfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Dahanavardhana Ayer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huddersfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Dahanavardhana Ayer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Indradatta Sran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute of the match Dharmapala Kapoor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Indradatta Sran skillfully saved the ball. Dudha Malhotra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaskirat Lanong struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Indradatta Sran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huddersfield. In the 96th minute Dahanavardhana Ayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Indradatta Sran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lavenham players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Huddersfield.
