After having played for 3 minutes, Aparthiva Ahuja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tavistock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aparthiva Ahuja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Tavistock's goalkeeper Anukula Sran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dilbaag Pradhan. Arokya Bahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aparthiva Ahuja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuldeep Nayyar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anukula Sran came out and tried to block the shot, but Kuldeep Nayyar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. A collision led to Tavistock getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Darsanapala Mehra hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Kuldeep Nayyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anukula Sran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, HINDU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Askran Bangopadhyay to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes, Daksi Phom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HINDU and the Tavistock players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, Dilbaag Pradhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Anukula Sran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Aparthiva Ahuja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arokya Bahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baladhara Varma in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dilbaag Pradhan got free with Anukula Sran in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Tavistock's Baladhara Varma got a free kick in the 41st minute. Anukula Sran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuldeep Nayyar, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. HINDU's Dilbaag Pradhan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Baru Sandhu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes, HINDU's Mohandyal Mohan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anukula Sran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HINDU reached it. Aparthiva Ahuja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arokya Bahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Aparthiva Ahuja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tavistock's supporters rose to their feet, but Aparthiva Ahuja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arokya Bahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aparthiva Ahuja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tavistock booed when HINDU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohandyal Mohan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuldeep Nayyar in the 65th minute of play forced Tavistock's goalkeeper Anukula Sran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Dilbaag Pradhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anukula Sran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dilbaag Pradhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anukula Sran was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 84 minutes into the game, HINDU's Kuldeep Nayyar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anukula Sran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 88 minutes into the match, HINDU's goal looked a bit too open when Aparthiva Ahuja came free, but Arokya Bahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aparthiva Ahuja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th match minute, HINDU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Askran Bangopadhyay to maneuver through the defense.
