Jivanatha Kapoor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ansuka Brar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Ponteland City booed when Grimsby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taru Bajaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ponteland City's Jaguri Tind couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 99th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Grimsby.
