Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 99) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jasalina Sohal kicked off to start the match. Ashok Warwaha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohan Lanong in the 3rd minute. IMMORTALS's Mohan Lanong got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ranjot Parab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashok Warwaha having to interfere. In the 15th minute Kameswara Wahlia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ashok Warwaha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sandown's Ashok Warwaha got control of the ball when Kameswara Wahlia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahvana Pahwa's late challenge caught a IMMORTALS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahvana Pahwa helped the player get up and apologised. Ahvana Pahwa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohan Lanong in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ashok Warwaha saved Sandown from getting behind. If Mohan Lanong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devarpana Chaturvedi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashok Warwaha having to interfere. Kameswara Wahlia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Dharmamitra Sohota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IMMORTALS and the Sandown players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dharmamitra Sohota kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohan Lanong to strike the kick off in the second half. Ashok Warwaha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohan Lanong in the 56th minute of the match. Ashok Warwaha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohan Lanong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandown's Ashok Warwaha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohan Lanong in the 59th minute of play. Iksuda Kahlon charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iksuda Kahlon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Sandown got a freekick which was hit by Iksuda Kahlon. 68 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when IMMORTALS's Mohan Lanong fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Devarpana Chaturvedi came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the IMMORTALS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Devarpana Chaturvedi couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, IMMORTALS's goalkeeper Kalita Doabia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasalina Sohal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohan Lanong in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ashok Warwaha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the game, Baladhika Lachenpa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IMMORTALS the free kick. Baladhika Lachenpa kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Sandown got a freekick which was hit by Jana Jadeja. In the 87th minute, Baladhika Lachenpa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sriram Basu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Sandown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sriram Basu couldn't finish the play. Jasalina Sohal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the IMMORTALS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
