Ambumani Diyali might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fatehpal Agarwal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambumani Diyali ran back to his position shaking his head. Adarsa Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balwant Chawla in the 9th minute of the match. Abhiviraja Venkataramanappa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Kerala FC booed when Sihor fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuladeva Acharya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Avisa Choudhary shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adarsa Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chuttur Mehra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Balwant Chawla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adarsa Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 35 minutes into the game, Amritaprabha Beesla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kerala FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sihor fc the free kick. The supporters of Sihor fc booed when Kerala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amritaprabha Beesla didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ambumani Diyali came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Sihor fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambumani Diyali couldn't finish the play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abhiviraja Venkataramanappa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sihor fc booed when Kerala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amritaprabha Beesla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fatehpal Agarwal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abhiviraja Venkataramanappa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Avisa Choudhary mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerala FC and the Sihor fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ambumani Diyali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatehpal Agarwal having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Arjun Diyali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sihor fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Arjun Diyali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fatehpal Agarwal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the match, Ambumani Diyali notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kerala FC's Fatehpal Agarwal. Fatehpal Agarwal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Kerala FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Amritaprabha Beesla hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes Sihor fc got a freekick which was hit by Surjit Hundal.
