Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jasalina Sohal started the match with the kick off. Manmohan Gasnette struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Ashok Warwaha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weaverham FC. Govindagowda Mehra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashok Warwaha having to interfere. In the 17th minute Jasalina Sohal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atish Dale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atish Dale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasalina Sohal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sandown's Devanna Dosanjh got a free kick in the 36th minute. Harjinder Liansailova, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Weaverham FC's Atish Dale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasalina Sohal in the 40th minute of play. Carudatta Sull hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Govindagowda Mehra got free with Ashok Warwaha in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Baladhika Lachenpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Carudatta Sull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ansaka Moktan made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ansaka Moktan in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ashok Warwaha saved Sandown from getting behind. In the 57th match minute, Weaverham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carudatta Sull to maneuver through the defense. Sandown's Radhakrishnan Balil shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Atish Dale but with some difficulty. Jana Jadeja kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Sandown's Jasalina Sohal in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Weaverham FC's goalie prevented a goal. Atish Dale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasalina Sohal in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sandown's Ahvana Pahwa got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Manmohan Gasnette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atish Dale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasalina Sohal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jasalina Sohal came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Sandown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jasalina Sohal couldn't finish the play. Govindagowda Mehra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Jasalina Sohal took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Atish Dale to make any attempt to save it. Baladhika Lachenpa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Atish Dale firmly grabbed it by the left post. Atish Dale was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jana Jadeja. Baladhika Lachenpa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Carudatta Sull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the game, Baladhika Lachenpa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Atish Dale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
