Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ansaka Moktan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Harjinder Liansailova didn't quite understand what happened when in the 7 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 9 minutes into the match, Weaverham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abhyagni Siddhu came free, but Atish Dale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Govindagowda Mehra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jata Gandhi having to interfere. Weaverham FC's Atish Dale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Weaverham FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Govindagowda Mehra in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jata Gandhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dasasarman Swamy kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Weaverham FC's Harjinder Liansailova tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Adhiksita Biswas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atish Dale having to interfere. With his leg Atish Dale managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Retford City's Adhiksita Biswas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manmohan Gasnette charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manmohan Gasnette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Weaverham FC's zone, Adhiksita Biswas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atish Dale came out of the goal and Adhiksita Biswas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ansaka Moktan struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jata Gandhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weaverham FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abhyagni Siddhu to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Adhiksita Biswas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atish Dale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Devesita Sabharwal lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Weaverham FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Retford City a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Shashi Kaal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Weaverham FC's Atish Dale. 1-0. If Adhiksita Biswas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Govindagowda Mehra notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Retford City's Jata Gandhi. Jata Gandhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abhyagni Siddhu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Atish Dale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Weaverham FC's Manmohan Gasnette got a free kick in the 76th minute. Atish Dale came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Retford City's Abhyagni Siddhu. But to his dismay, Abhyagni Siddhu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 82nd minute, Adhiksita Biswas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abhyagni Siddhu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adhiksita Biswas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Atish Dale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Weaverham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manmohan Gasnette to maneuver through the defense. Weaverham FC's Atish Dale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhiksita Biswas in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dasasarman Swamy in the 99th minute of play forced Weaverham FC's goalkeeper Atish Dale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Retford City had won after a very even match.
