Aryadeva Krishnan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jasavira Dhotre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rajendran Grewal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Dhareshwar Chakma made a huge save. Jasavira Dhotre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hansakaya Saxena's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Rajendran Grewal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Aryadeva Krishnan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Evington's supporters rose to their feet, but Aryadeva Krishnan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jasavira Dhotre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karajala Takkar might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dhareshwar Chakma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jasavira Dhotre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evington. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Jasavira Dhotre made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Arthvana Raja sent off a good shot on target. If Karajala Takkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rajendran Grewal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
