Mungira Police's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abhinandin Dass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Katriyar Bhuppal scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kalal Sen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Anjanaparvan Mohan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalal Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Katriyar Bhuppal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasta Ayer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apindra Shetty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Abhinandin Dass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kalal Sen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Katriyar Bhuppal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abhinandin Dass had several of the Leamington Spa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Kalal Sen as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Katriyar Bhuppal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Katriyar Bhuppal made a precise shot to the right of Kalal Sen. Leamington Spa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 32nd minute Abhinandin Dass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalal Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leamington Spa's Hasta Ayer got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hasta Ayer to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Gramapala Mohan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mungira Police and the Leamington Spa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gramapala Mohan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Katriyar Bhuppal charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Katriyar Bhuppal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Mungira Police got a freekick which was hit by Katriyar Bhuppal. Kalal Sen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abhinandin Dass in the 57th minute of the match. Abhinandin Dass struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Kalal Sen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mungira Police. Apindra Shetty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasta Ayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes, Katriyar Bhuppal made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Leamington Spa's Kalal Sen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mungira Police's Katriyar Bhuppal got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Abhinandin Dass cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Kalal Sen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abhiramana Pant charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abhiramana Pant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Leamington Spa's Abhiramana Pant got a free kick in the 75th minute. Katriyar Bhuppal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalal Sen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Katriyar Bhuppal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mungira Police's supporters rose to their feet, but Katriyar Bhuppal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalal Sen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Abhinandin Dass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akama Denzongpa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mungira Police's Apindra Shetty got control of the ball when Anjanaparvan Mohan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Abhinandin Dass left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mungira Police fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Gramapala Mohan lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Leamington Spa booed when Mungira Police was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gramapala Mohan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
