Indrayatana Iyengar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Giaandeep Chattha made a huge save. In the 7th minute Atula Rathod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giaandeep Chattha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giaandeep Chattha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atula Rathod in the 9th minute of the match. Kirit Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Jagacitra Vaidya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jagrup Kharka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bishops Waltham United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Harimbhara Dosanjh hit a great ball. Asvin Uppal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kirkby in Ashfield's Kirit Dias got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Kirkby in Ashfield booed when Bishops Waltham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anant Jagur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bishops Waltham United's goalkeeper Giaandeep Chattha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barhisapala Saxena kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Asvin Uppal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bishops Waltham United's supporters rose to their feet, but Asvin Uppal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jagrup Kharka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Indrayatana Iyengar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giaandeep Chattha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Dharmasimha Liansailova charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dharmasimha Liansailova the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dharmasimha Liansailova hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Indrayatana Iyengar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Indrayatana Iyengar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jagacitra Vaidya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Bishops Waltham United got a freekick which was hit by Jagad Lamichaney. In the 54th minute, Api Japra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Kirit Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giaandeep Chattha. Bishops Waltham United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kirit Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Parampal Janda came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Kirkby in Ashfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Parampal Janda couldn't finish the play. Asvin Uppal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jagrup Kharka made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Kirit Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kirit Dias took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giaandeep Chattha. Giaandeep Chattha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a little luck, Kirkby in Ashfield's Jagrup Kharka got control of the ball when Asvin Uppal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giaandeep Chattha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indrayatana Iyengar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atula Rathod received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Giaandeep Chattha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kirkby in Ashfield's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
