Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abhijeet Parab kicked off to start the match. The supporters of PRIME ATHLETICO FC booed when Mangotsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bisambharnatha Denhoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jasavira Dhotre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abhijeet Parab in the 9th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Karajala Takkar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roopindar Dhillon. PRIME ATHLETICO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karajala Takkar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Mangotsfield's goalkeeper Jasavira Dhotre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abhijeet Parab. Karajala Takkar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roopindar Dhillon having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Mangotsfield's Rajendran Grewal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roopindar Dhillon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Rajendran Grewal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangotsfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PRIME ATHLETICO FC the free kick. In the 31st minute, Rajendran Grewal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PRIME ATHLETICO FC's Abhijeet Parab got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mangotsfield's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abhijeet Parab 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jayant Mitra managed to get in a good position for a shot. PRIME ATHLETICO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jayant Mitra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jasavira Dhotre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karajala Takkar to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Karajala Takkar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mangotsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Karajala Takkar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roopindar Dhillon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mangotsfield's zone, Jayant Mitra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jasavira Dhotre came out of the goal and Jayant Mitra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jayant Mitra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jayant Mitra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abhijeet Parab in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jasavira Dhotre saved Mangotsfield from getting behind. Rajendran Grewal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Roopindar Dhillon made a huge save. After having played for 73 minutes, Jayant Mitra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PRIME ATHLETICO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jayant Mitra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roopindar Dhillon made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Badaridasa Bhuppal sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Mangotsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Abhijeet Parab came free, but Jasavira Dhotre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jayant Mitra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abhijeet Parab in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jasavira Dhotre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, PRIME ATHLETICO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karajala Takkar came free, but Roopindar Dhillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jayant Mitra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PRIME ATHLETICO FC's Abhijeet Parab got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
