The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Tollygunge Agragami's goal looked a bit too open when Arvinder Jammu came free, but Balayukta Jha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Seaton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Indrarajan Kapoor came free, but Sutantar Kohli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Seaton FC's Kratupati Dube got a free kick in the 9th minute. Abhyudaya Rattu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sutantar Kohli having to make a save. When Abhyudaya Rattu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Tollygunge Agragami fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abhyudaya Rattu couldn't finish the play. Agnivallabha Sirjoshi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Abhyudaya Rattu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sutantar Kohli having to interfere. Golaki Ram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sutantar Kohli having to interfere. Balayukta Jha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dandasri Sharma in the 19th minute of the match. If Golaki Ram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abhyudaya Rattu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agha Jha might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sutantar Kohli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agha Jha ran back to his position shaking his head. Abhyudaya Rattu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Golaki Ram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abhyudaya Rattu scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sutantar Kohli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tollygunge Agragami's Indrarajan Kapoor got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Abhyudaya Rattu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abhyudaya Rattu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arvinder Jammu made a kick off. Balayukta Jha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvinder Jammu in the 54th minute of the match. Sutantar Kohli was a little too slow when Abhyudaya Rattu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. Harmandar Bajwa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Agha Jha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sutantar Kohli. Seaton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agha Jha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 63rd minute, Abhyudaya Rattu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sutantar Kohli. The goal made the score 0-4. Abhyudaya Rattu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sutantar Kohli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Harmandar Bajwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tollygunge Agragami's Bhavasagara Dhamija got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Abhyudaya Rattu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sutantar Kohli having to interfere. A collision led to Seaton FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ekatan Iyer hit a great ball. After 87 minutes of play, Tollygunge Agragami's Abhyudaya Rattu made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sutantar Kohli was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Abhyudaya Rattu got free with Sutantar Kohli in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Seaton FC's zone, Abhyudaya Rattu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sutantar Kohli came out of the goal and Abhyudaya Rattu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Harmandar Bajwa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tollygunge Agragami's supporters rose to their feet, but Harmandar Bajwa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sutantar Kohli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
