Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gautam Hegde made the kick off and thus started the match. Jasjit Kale charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jasjit Kale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jasjit Kale hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jitvan Sabnis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gautam Hegde, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of Bembridge booed when Astley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jajhara Singh didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bembridge fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Bembridge's Krtalaksana Thiara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jajhara Singh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aryaman Ghoshal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Astley got a freekick which was hit by Avabhasita Chauhan. After 20 minutes of play, Astley's Agnimasa Naik made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aryaman Ghoshal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dipak Kumar kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jasjit Kale kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aryaman Ghoshal. That made the score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Bembridge's goalkeeper Aryaman Ghoshal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avabhasita Chauhan. 39 minutes into the game, Bembridge's Guruswamy Bal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jitvan Sabnis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gautam Hegde in the 47th minute of play forced Astley's goalkeeper Jitvan Sabnis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Avabhasita Chauhan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Jasjit Kale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aryaman Ghoshal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Jasjit Kale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 65 minutes into the match, Agnimasa Naik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aryaman Ghoshal. Bembridge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agnimasa Naik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Aryaman Ghoshal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avabhasita Chauhan in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Bembridge's Krtalaksana Thiara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-3. Aryaman Ghoshal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasjit Kale in the 74th minute of play. Aryaman Ghoshal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasjit Kale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jitvan Sabnis made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Krtalaksana Thiara sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Astley's Jajhara Singh got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Jitvan Sabnis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gautam Hegde in the 88th minute of play. With his leg Jitvan Sabnis managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Bembridge's Guruswamy Bal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Avabhasita Chauhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aryaman Ghoshal having to interfere.
