Spectators: 6939 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1939, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeman Venkataramanappa kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Asvavan Vurghese managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elsdon's supporters rose to their feet, but Asvavan Vurghese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balachandar Dasgupta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cetana Sandhu struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Balachandar Dasgupta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elsdon. Balachandar Dasgupta came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Elsdon's Asvavan Vurghese. But to his dismay, Asvavan Vurghese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Abhay Bajwa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Devavid Denhoy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Lytham's Anantaram Upadhyay got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Kisni Dasgupta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bhanuratha Shetty's late challenge caught a Lytham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bhanuratha Shetty helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Elsdon's Bhanuratha Shetty got a free kick in the 30th minute. Harshal Sukhija's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Devavid Denhoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Elsdon's Devavid Denhoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeman Venkataramanappa in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Lytham getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anantaram Upadhyay hit a great ball. Cetana Sandhu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Balachandar Dasgupta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lytham's Harshal Sukhija got a free kick in the 46th minute. Balachandar Dasgupta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asvavan Vurghese went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Asvavan Vurghese made the kick off in the second half. Sanjog Randhawa kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Harshal Sukhija took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Devavid Denhoy. Elsdon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeman Venkataramanappa in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Devavid Denhoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Asvavan Vurghese notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lytham's Balachandar Dasgupta. Balachandar Dasgupta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute Jeman Venkataramanappa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devavid Denhoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Elsdon getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bhanuratha Shetty hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes, Lytham's Harshal Sukhija shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Devavid Denhoy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lytham reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asvavan Vurghese got free with Balachandar Dasgupta in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 92 minutes, Avajita Samran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elsdon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avajita Samran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute Jeman Venkataramanappa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devavid Denhoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elsdon played a much better game than Lytham and deserved their victory. The Lytham players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
