Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaskaran Gandhi got the match started through his kick off. In the 17th match minute, Shobdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abhisara Sambhi to maneuver through the defense. If Alipriya Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hurst Green's Dehesvara Vaidya got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jaskaran Gandhis short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Dipa Johl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Hurst Green's Dipa Johl got control of the ball when Jaskaran Gandhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dipa Johl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balik Venkataramanappa in the 38th minute of play. Hurst Green's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Jaskaran Gandhi scored to the left of an out of position Dipa Johl, making the score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Shobdon's Abhayda Bansal got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Manjit Sohota made the kick off in the second half. Ashwin Subba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hariraja Shah came out and tried to block the shot, but Ashwin Subba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alipriya Pinto in the 59th minute of play forced Hurst Green's goalkeeper Dipa Johl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Balik Venkataramanappa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dipa Johl was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Dipa Johl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaskaran Gandhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes of play, Shobdon's Jaskaran Gandhi made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
