Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaskaran Gandhi made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4thth minute of the game Alipriya Pinto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maldon's Durvartu Rattu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes in the game, Jaskaran Gandhi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Durvartu Rattu having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Shobdon's goal looked a bit too open when Ksaman Chohan came free, but Hariraja Shah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Maldon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alipriya Pinto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Durvartu Rattu made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jaskaran Gandhi sent off a good shot on target. Abhayda Bansal kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ksaman Chohan scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hariraja Shah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alipriya Pinto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Durvartu Rattu came out and tried to block the shot, but Alipriya Pinto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. Durvartu Rattu made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Balik Venkataramanappa sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the game, Bhavadatta Pabley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maldon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shobdon the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Maldon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bhavadatta Pabley to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes Maldon got a freekick which was hit by Bhavadatta Pabley. 1-2 became the score in the 32nd minute when Ksaman Chohan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ksaman Chohan in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hariraja Shah saved Shobdon from getting behind. A collision led to Shobdon getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Abhayda Bansal hit a great ball. Hariraja Shah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bhavadatta Pabley in the 47th minute of play.

The supporters of Maldon booed when Shobdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abhimoda Arneja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hariraja Shah came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Maldon's Ksaman Chohan. But to his dismay, Ksaman Chohan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Hariraja Shah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bhavadatta Pabley in the 56th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Ksaman Chohan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 58th minute, Maldon's Bhavadatta Pabley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Maldon's Durvartu Rattu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaskaran Gandhi in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Bhavadatta Pabley took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Hariraja Shah to make any attempt to save it. 72 minutes into the match, Maldon's goal looked a bit too open when Jaskaran Gandhi came free, but Durvartu Rattu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Arca Vishveshwara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaskaran Gandhi took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durvartu Rattu. Durvartu Rattu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Durvartu Rattu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaskaran Gandhi in the 79th minute of play. Shobdon's Hariraja Shah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Shobdon from getting a goal against them. Maldon's Durvartu Rattu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alipriya Pinto in the 89th minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Arudra Sodhi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hariraja Shah skillfully saved the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Shobdon's goalkeeper Hariraja Shah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ksaman Chohan. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maldon eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
