Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) East Dulwich's Inan De started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Inan De recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andhraka Kamle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Hariharan Akhtar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of East Dulwich booed when Southend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aryaman Khanna didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, East Dulwich's goal looked a bit too open when Aryaman Khanna came free, but Haricarana Lanong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Inan De shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardra Reel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Southend's goal looked a bit too open when Inan De came free, but Ardra Reel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Southend:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of East Dulwich:s goal. Inan De scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ardra Reel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inan De in the 43rd minute of play forced Southend's goalkeeper Ardra Reel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bhrajathu Kelkar struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Haricarana Lanong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Southend. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aryaman Khanna to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Hita Jha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haricarana Lanong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Southend's Ardra Reel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Southend from getting a goal against them. Haricarana Lanong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aryaman Khanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andhraka Kamle's late challenge caught a Southend's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andhraka Kamle helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes East Dulwich got a freekick which was hit by Andhraka Kamle. Bhrajathu Kelkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haricarana Lanong having to interfere. A collision led to East Dulwich getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ratangeet Akhtar hit a great ball. East Dulwich's Haricarana Lanong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hita Jha in the 62nd minute of play. Aravini Gore hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, East Dulwich's Andhraka Kamle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ardra Reel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 minutes of play, Southend's Bhrajathu Kelkar made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haricarana Lanong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ardra Reel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inan De, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes, Api Deshmukh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southend and the East Dulwich players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Api Deshmukh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ardra Reel came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by East Dulwich's Andhraka Kamle. But to his dismay, Andhraka Kamle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Southend's Aryaman Khanna got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haricarana Lanong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bhrajathu Kelkar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. East Dulwich's Agnisika Chettri got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aryaman Khanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
