Kamasakha Som showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Divyaprabhava Bhaura in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Akopa Sharma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javagal Sahota was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Javagal Sahota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akrosa Arneja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akrosa Arneja in the 23rd minute of play forced Whaplode's goalkeeper Javagal Sahota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akrosa Arneja in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javagal Sahota saved Whaplode from getting behind. After some careless play in the Whaplode defense, Akrosa Arneja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javagal Sahota. The Whaplode fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javagal Sahota should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Akrosa Arneja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javagal Sahota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ekayastika Boparai fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Whaplode's protests and gave Ekayastika Boparai a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Whaplode got a freekick which was hit by Ekayastika Boparai. Kamasakha Som made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Divyaprabhava Bhaura in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Akrosa Arneja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javagal Sahota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akrosa Arneja in the 36th minute of play forced Whaplode's goalkeeper Javagal Sahota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Whaplode got a freekick which was hit by Ekayastika Boparai. Whaplode's Javagal Sahota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Troy Lionheart in the 39th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Akrosa Arneja put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Javagal Sahota. 46 minutes into the game, Crystal City's Akrosa Arneja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javagal Sahota made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 石寒天 made a kick off. Javagal Sahota stood somewhat misplaced when 石寒天 came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 55 minute. 石寒天 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Javagal Sahota made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Candrabhasu Sangma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kamasakha Som. Crystal City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candrabhasu Sangma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Candrabhasu Sangma hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A hard shot 73 in the game by 石寒天 from a close distance when the talented Javagal Sahota managed to make a qualified save. Whaplode's players were relieved. Kamasakha Som showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narayanan Dass in the 75th minute of the match. Mina Bajwa had several of the Whaplode's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Javagal Sahota as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 87th minute, Mina Bajwa made a precise shot to the right of Javagal Sahota. Whaplode's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Troy Lionheart's late challenge caught a Whaplode's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Troy Lionheart helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Crystal City's Troy Lionheart got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, 石寒天 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Javagal Sahota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Crystal City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
