Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Bembridge's Ramakant Lally started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Ambudhara Dua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bembridge and the HAMMER players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bembridge's Ambudhara Dua got a free kick in the 4th minute. A long shot from Adhivahana Gill in the 5th minute of play was well struck, but Ahima Salve made a really good save at the right post. Ramakant Lally kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Bembridge's Ambudhara Dua got his second yellow card of the match in the 14th minute. The referee ordered Ambudhara Dua off the ground. Ambudhara Dua hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vidyahar Gupta during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, HAMMER's Vidyahar Gupta got a free kick in the 16th minute. Caruhasan Ghoshal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramakant Lally in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the HAMMER defense, Harsada Prasad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caruhasan Ghoshal. The HAMMER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caruhasan Ghoshal should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, HAMMER's goal looked a bit too open when Ramakant Lally came free, but Caruhasan Ghoshal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahima Salve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sridhar Sharma in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, HAMMER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paramjit Jaggi to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes, Devila Biswas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HAMMER and the Bembridge players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bembridge booed when HAMMER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devila Biswas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, HAMMER's goal looked a bit too open when Harsada Prasad came free, but Caruhasan Ghoshal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 36th minute of the match Devila Biswas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Devila Biswas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 36 played minutes HAMMER got a freekick which was hit by Devila Biswas. Bembridge's Ahima Salve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Bembridge from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the match, Harsada Prasad notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of HAMMER's Caruhasan Ghoshal. Caruhasan Ghoshal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

54 minutes into the match, Bembridge's goal looked a bit too open when Paramjit Jaggi came free, but Ahima Salve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Harsada Prasad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caruhasan Ghoshal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Paramjit Jaggi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bembridge's Ahima Salve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidyahar Gupta in the 65th minute of play forced Bembridge's goalkeeper Ahima Salve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bembridge getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Surinderpal Sahu hit a great ball. Sobha Mandal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of HAMMER booed when Bembridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramakant Lally didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jugala Anand charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jugala Anand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to HAMMER getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jugala Anand hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, HAMMER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sridhar Sharma to maneuver through the defense. Ahima Salve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paramjit Jaggi's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute Vidyahar Gupta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahima Salve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Sobha Mandal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harsada Prasad struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Caruhasan Ghoshal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bembridge. In the 90th minute Paramjit Jaggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahima Salve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sobha Mandal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bembridge's Ahima Salve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paramjit Jaggi in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bembridge had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
