The audience was convinced that Harsada Prasad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ardra Reel was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Ardra Reel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harsada Prasad in the 31st minute of the match. Harsada Prasad's late challenge caught a Southend's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harsada Prasad helped the player get up and apologised. Harsada Prasad hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Bembridge's Ahima Salve got control of the ball when Bhrajathu Kelkar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ambudhara Dua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bembridge's Ahima Salve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Bembridge from getting a goal against them. Ahima Salve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aryaman Khanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 49th minute, Harsada Prasad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bembridge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aryaman Khanna to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harsada Prasad in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ardra Reel saved Southend from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Southend's goalkeeper Ardra Reel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramakant Lally. After 62 minutes, Ramakant Lally made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Southend's Ardra Reel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Southend's goalkeeper Ardra Reel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramakant Lally. A collision led to Bembridge getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Harsada Prasad hit a great ball. Southend's Ardra Reel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Southend from getting a goal against them. Ahima Salve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hita Jha in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Harsada Prasad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardra Reel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Southend got a freekick which was hit by Hita Jha. Ardra Reel was a little too slow when Harsada Prasad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 99th minute. The score was now 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bembridge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
