Harsada Prasad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14thth minute of the game Harsada Prasad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Whaplode's Javagal Sahota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Whaplode's Anita Reddy got a free kick in the 18th minute. Surinderpal Sahu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Javagal Sahota. Whaplode's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 21 played minutes Whaplode got a freekick which was hit by Candrabhasu Sangma. Narayanan Dass fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahima Salve having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Divyaprabhava Bhaura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahima Salve was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ahima Salve didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narayanan Dass went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ambudhara Dua kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Divyaprabhava Bhaura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes Whaplode got a freekick which was hit by Narayanan Dass. If Harsada Prasad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramakant Lally sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Divyaprabhava Bhaura took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Ahima Salve to make any attempt to save it. Narayanan Dass might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahima Salve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narayanan Dass ran back to his position shaking his head. Bembridge's Ahima Salve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narayanan Dass in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Whaplode's Anita Reddy got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Whaplode's zone, Ramakant Lally stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javagal Sahota came out of the goal and Ramakant Lally tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ekayastika Boparai fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Whaplode's protests and gave Ekayastika Boparai a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bembridge booed when Whaplode was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekayastika Boparai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javagal Sahota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramakant Lally in the 67th minute of play. Divyaprabhava Bhaura kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Divyaprabhava Bhaura in the 77th minute of play forced Bembridge's goalkeeper Ahima Salve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Anilabha Vishwakarma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahima Salve was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harsada Prasad in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javagal Sahota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harsada Prasad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Javagal Sahota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Bembridge's Ahima Salve got control of the ball when Anilabha Vishwakarma tried to sneak it across the goal line.
