After 40 minutes, Devila Biswas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HAMMER and the East Dulwich players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, HAMMER's Devila Biswas got a free kick in the 40th minute. Haricarana Lanong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sobha Mandal went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 46 minutes, Sobha Mandal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HAMMER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sobha Mandal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atamas Dambria to make the kick off. Sobha Mandal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haricarana Lanong having to interfere. A hard shot 54 in the game by Andhraka Kamle from a close distance when the talented Caruhasan Ghoshal managed to make a qualified save. HAMMER's players were relieved. Andhraka Kamle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, HAMMER's Atamas Dambria made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haricarana Lanong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sobha Mandal struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Haricarana Lanong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HAMMER. Haricarana Lanong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atamas Dambria's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Andhraka Kamle's late challenge caught a HAMMER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andhraka Kamle helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes East Dulwich got a freekick which was hit by Andhraka Kamle. After having played for 96 minutes, Sobha Mandal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HAMMER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sobha Mandal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Many of East Dulwich's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. East Dulwich may have spent more time on the ball, but HAMMER were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
