Abhimoda Mohan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Akopa Sharma went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 9 minutes of play, Crystal City's Akrosa Arneja made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abhimoda Mohan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Troy Lionheart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abhimoda Mohan having to interfere. Mina Bajwa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Abhimoda Mohan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mina Bajwa in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abhimoda Mohan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Howden AFC India's Abhimoda Mohan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Troy Lionheart in the 36th minute of play. Abhimoda Mohan came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Crystal City's Mina Bajwa. But to his dismay, Mina Bajwa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 41st minute, Hema Sailo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crystal City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Abhimoda Mohan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akrosa Arneja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Howden AFC India's Abhimoda Mohan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akopa Sharma in the 46th minute of play. After 48 minutes of play, Crystal City's Mina Bajwa made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abhimoda Mohan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karamdeep Bhasin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kumar Siamkhuma kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Amaropama Bhaura hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, 石寒天 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abhimoda Mohan. Howden AFC India's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 石寒天 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. 77 minutes into the match, Howden AFC India's goal looked a bit too open when 石寒天 came free, but Abhimoda Mohan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Howden AFC India's Arudra Khanna got a free kick in the 78th minute. Abhimoda Mohan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mina Bajwa went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. Abhimoda Mohan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mina Bajwa in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Hema Sailo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abhimoda Mohan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. Howden AFC India's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Troy Lionheart scored to the left of an out of position Abhimoda Mohan, making the score, 0-14. Abhimoda Mohan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Lionheart, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Abhimoda Mohan was a little too slow when Akopa Sharma got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-15. After having played for 97 minutes, Karamdeep Bhasin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Howden AFC India's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karamdeep Bhasin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Crystal City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
