In the 7th minute of the match, Anutosa Paranjpe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abhimoda Mohan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 12 minutes into the match, Howden AFC India's goal looked a bit too open when Anutosa Paranjpe came free, but Abhimoda Mohan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Howden AFC India got a freekick which was hit by Karamdeep Bhasin. Agnisika Chaddha came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abhimoda Mohan could save by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Abhimoda Mohan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abhimoda Mohan made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Agnisika Chaddha sent off a good shot on target. A wasted opportunity for Welford. 54 minutes into the match, Anutosa Paranjpe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abhimoda Mohan. Howden AFC India's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anutosa Paranjpe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Abhimoda Mohan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnisika Chaddha in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Welford's Kavisvara Ahuja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abhimoda Mohan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Abhimoda Mohan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kavisvara Ahuja in the 66th minute of play. Anutosa Paranjpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Abhimoda Mohan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Agnisika Chaddha sped through Howden AFC India's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abhimoda Mohan. Abhimoda Mohan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aryabhata Khandelwal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 87 minutes, Hiryur Matharu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hiryur Matharu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karamdeep Bhasin during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Howden AFC India was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karamdeep Bhasin to maneuver through the defense. Abhimoda Mohan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kavisvara Ahuja went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After 94 played minutes Welford got a freekick which was hit by Harsajjan Sran. After a rather tough play, Welford's Ili Shindi got a free kick in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Welford were the better team. Welford's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
