Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Didhitimat Gandhi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 minutes, Ratan Chima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bembridge and the Holton-le-Clay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Bembridge got a freekick which was hit by Ratan Chima. When Didhitimat Gandhi came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Holton-le-Clay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didhitimat Gandhi couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute Didhitimat Gandhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahima Salve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Surinderpal Sahu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Didhitimat Gandhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahima Salve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambudhara Dua hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Didhitimat Gandhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Holton-le-Clay's goalkeeper Jivaratna Beasley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramakant Lally. Charanjit Maroke hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bembridge's zone, Didhitimat Gandhi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahima Salve came out of the goal and Didhitimat Gandhi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bembridge's Ambudhara Dua got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 40 played minutes Bembridge got a freekick which was hit by Charanjit Maroke. After 42 played minutes, Holton-le-Clay's Analajit Sagoo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahima Salve came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Holton-le-Clay reached it. 44 minutes into the match, Holton-le-Clay's goal looked a bit too open when Harsada Prasad came free, but Jivaratna Beasley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ramakant Lally had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Holton-le-Clay's goalkeeper Jivaratna Beasley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramakant Lally.

The wind increased when Ramakant Lally made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramakant Lally in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jivaratna Beasley saved Holton-le-Clay from getting behind. If Ramakant Lally had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Vikrant Sandhu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahima Salve. Bembridge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vikrant Sandhu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 65 minutes into the match, Holton-le-Clay's goal looked a bit too open when Harsada Prasad came free, but Jivaratna Beasley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bembridge's Ambudhara Dua got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Bembridge's Surinderpal Sahu in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holton-le-Clay's goalie prevented a goal. Jivaratna Beasley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramakant Lally, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Harsada Prasad notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Holton-le-Clay's Jivaratna Beasley. Jivaratna Beasley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
