When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Atamas Dambria took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Harasvarupa Baweja to make any attempt to save it. 14 minutes into the match, HAMMER's goal looked a bit too open when Anutosa Paranjpe came free, but Caruhasan Ghoshal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sobha Mandal fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. HAMMER's Caruhasan Ghoshal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aryabhata Khandelwal in the 18th minute of play. Caruhasan Ghoshal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aryabhata Khandelwal in the 33rd minute of the match. Caruhasan Ghoshal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnisika Chaddha in the 34th minute of play. When Sridhar Sharma came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the HAMMER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sridhar Sharma couldn't finish the play. The supporters of HAMMER booed when Welford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ras Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harasvarupa Baweja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harasvarupa Baweja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sridhar Sharma in the 84th minute of the match. Agnisika Chaddha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caruhasan Ghoshal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Harasvarupa Baweja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atamas Dambria, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
