Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lall Chohan took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, NAGALAND FC's Narinderpal Deol got control of the ball when Joginder Panu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Indrayan Bhardwaj fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NAGALAND FC's protests and gave Indrayan Bhardwaj a yellow card for diving instead. 11 minutes into the match, Lall Chohan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avipriya Mishra. Frinton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lall Chohan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, NAGALAND FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaitrama Bajaj came free, but Narinderpal Deol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Frinton's Ramakanth Deshmukh ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narinderpal Deol. Narinderpal Deol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 20 played minutes NAGALAND FC got a freekick which was hit by Vasantha Rathod. 21 minutes into the game, Joginder Panu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Narinderpal Deol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amarajota Jain charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amarajota Jain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amarajota Jain kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Frinton's Avipriya Mishra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amarajota Jain in the 30th minute of play. Narinderpal Deol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaitrama Bajaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Amarajota Jain was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. In the 33rd match minute, NAGALAND FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amarajota Jain to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Jaitrama Bajaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narinderpal Deol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Ramakanth Deshmukh reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Narinderpal Deol. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 40th minute, Joginder Panu fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Narinderpal Deol. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Frinton's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Jaitrama Bajaj struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Narinderpal Deol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frinton. In the 47th minute, Arkasa Lal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaitrama Bajaj to make the kick off. Avipriya Mishra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lall Chohan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narinderpal Deol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joginder Panu in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Frinton booed when NAGALAND FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasantha Rathod didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Harpinder Pal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narinderpal Deol skillfully saved the ball. In the 70th minute, Ramakanth Deshmukh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frinton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. 73 minutes into the match, Ramakanth Deshmukh notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of NAGALAND FC's Narinderpal Deol. Narinderpal Deol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fateh Chatterjee kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joginder Panu in the 80th minute of play forced NAGALAND FC's goalkeeper Narinderpal Deol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joginder Panu scored 8-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narinderpal Deol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Narinderpal Deol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaitrama Bajaj in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Joginder Panu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narinderpal Deol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narinderpal Deol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaitrama Bajaj in the 93rd minute of the match. Lall Chohan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frinton were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of NAGALAND FC for a fine match.
