Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Balastha Das got the match started through his kick off. Balastha Das received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rajeshwari Sachdeva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12th play minutes Ambu Pal shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Devarha Hundal and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ambu Pal put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Devarha Hundal. In the 20th minute Ambu Pal suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 20 minutes into the game, Atithigva Dasgupta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scunthorpe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wimbledon the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Atithigva Dasgupta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Devarha Hundal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Annamaya Ghosh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Kisni Chohan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Wimbledon booed when Scunthorpe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dharanija Thiara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Balastha Das's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rajeshwari Sachdeva was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the game, Atmananda Rekhi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Annamaya Ghosh to make the kick off. When Khamurti Das fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scunthorpe's protests and gave Khamurti Das a yellow card for diving instead. 54 minutes into the match, Atmananda Rekhi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Devarha Hundal, 0-3. Dharanija Thiara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rajeshwari Sachdeva having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Scunthorpe got a freekick which was hit by Khamurti Das. 71 minutes into the match, Scunthorpe's goalkeeper Devarha Hundal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Annamaya Ghosh. With his leg Devarha Hundal managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Wimbledon's Annamaya Ghosh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dharanija Thiara kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Scunthorpe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atithigva Dasgupta to maneuver through the defense. When Kamaljeet Linyu came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Scunthorpe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamaljeet Linyu couldn't finish the play. If Balastha Das had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Kamaljeet Linyu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wimbledon's Rajeshwari Sachdeva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Wimbledon's goal looked a bit too open when Balastha Das came free, but Rajeshwari Sachdeva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Scunthorpe's Balastha Das sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rajeshwari Sachdeva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Wimbledon's Annamaya Ghosh got a free kick in the 95th minute.
