Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Batistuta in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Debaprosad Dev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, Internet Explorer's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Batistuta came free, but Debaprosad Dev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Debaprosad Dev having to interfere. Debaprosad Dev came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Shireoaks's Gabriel Batistuta. But to his dismay, Gabriel Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Debaprosad Dev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gabriel Batistuta sped through Internet Explorer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Debaprosad Dev. After 24 minutes Internet Explorer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bhadrajatika Saxena who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bhadrajatika Saxena got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Debaprosad Dev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Andha Pabley came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Internet Explorer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andha Pabley couldn't finish the play. In the 28thth minute of the game Gabriel Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Internet Explorer's Debaprosad Dev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Gabriel Batistuta put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Debaprosad Dev. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Batistuta in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Debaprosad Dev saved Internet Explorer from getting behind. After 46 played minutes Internet Explorer got a freekick which was hit by Atish Japra. After having played for 47 minutes, Gabriel Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shireoaks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Shireoaks were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gabriel Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Amar Rudrappa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Debaprosad Dev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Batistuta went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the game, Andha Pabley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internet Explorer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shireoaks the free kick. In the 58th minute of the match Bhadrajatika Saxena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Debaprosad Dev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Shireoaks's Gabriel Batistuta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Debaprosad Dev. That made the score 0-8 after 63 minutes of play. Internet Explorer's Debaprosad Dev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Batistuta in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Gabriel Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Debaprosad Dev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Arati Kasal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Gabriel Batistuta made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Internet Explorer's Debaprosad Dev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Govindarajan Chahil struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Brendon Boatman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internet Explorer. In the 77th minute, Usem Mahdoufi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beman Rathod hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Shireoaks played a much better game than Internet Explorer and deserved their victory. The Internet Explorer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
