Damodaragoun Akhtar hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaivalya Samra in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nagpur FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Davinder Ghuman was slow to take the kick. During this time Bridport's players had a chance to rest. Davinder Ghuman made a great header on Bridport's corner, it was just that Nagpur FC's Ciro Varela managed to reach the ball for a save. 19 minutes into the match, Bridport's Kaivalya Samra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Bridport's Kaivalya Samra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anhu Bajwa was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Nagpur FC booed when Bridport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damodaragoun Akhtar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guruswamy Sahni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niranjan Bhaura, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Damodaragoun Akhtar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Sukhjinder Mandal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guruswamy Sahni skillfully saved the ball. Guruswamy Sahni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atisaya Parekh in the 59th minute of play. Kaivalya Samra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ciro Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Kaivalya Samra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nagpur FC's Ambara Holkar got a free kick in the 75th minute. Kaivalya Samra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Varela having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Nagpur FC's Anhu Bajwa made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guruswamy Sahni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guruswamy Sahni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sukhjinder Mandal in the 88th minute of the match. Aruna Basrai charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aruna Basrai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bridport booed when Nagpur FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aruna Basrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niranjan Bhaura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute Niranjan Bhaura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guruswamy Sahni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nagpur FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bridport's performance. The match ended with a win for Bridport.
