In the 75th minute, one of Ban Balae:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ban Balae. The referee gave Thai Real Madrid FC a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Thaworn Noozeng, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ban Balae's Phitsanu Kalahong. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Thitichaya Tarean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ban Balae's supporters rose to their feet, but Thitichaya Tarean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ban Balae were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
