The crowd rose to their feet as Kömürspor's Somrote Mapinta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anan Sarayos. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. In the 16th minute of the match, Thongdee Saenluang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anan Sarayos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 16 minutes into the game, Sivakan Silachai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IK-STYM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kömürspor the free kick. Sivakan Silachai hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Thongdee Saenluang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anan Sarayos was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Wittayu Juntarapornkul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanea Phatthanasing having to interfere. Kittisak Jamparueng hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes, IK-STYM's Chomrat Choomruangsri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sanea Phatthanasing came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IK-STYM reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 52nd minute, Kömürspor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wittayu Juntarapornkul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Wittayu Juntarapornkul notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Kömürspor's Sanea Phatthanasing. Sanea Phatthanasing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thongdee Saenluang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anan Sarayos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thongdee Saenluang in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Somrote Mapinta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anan Sarayos. IK-STYM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Somrote Mapinta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After some careless play in the Kömürspor defense, Wittayu Juntarapornkul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sanea Phatthanasing. The Kömürspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sanea Phatthanasing should have stopped the shot. Thepchai Jakboonyarak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IK-STYM's Anan Sarayos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sirisak Temvong in the 76th minute of play. Wittayu Juntarapornkul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sanea Phatthanasing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Thongdee Saenluang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Anan Sarayos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, IK-STYM's goal looked a bit too open when Somrote Mapinta came free, but Anan Sarayos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kömürspor's Thongdee Saenluang in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
