Tha Khun's Sukit Jamparueng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiroj Boriboonphun in the 20th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Thanit Paesangchun elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Worawat Cheetanom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Worawat Cheetanom might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Weerachai Vavdaw. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Worawat Cheetanom ran back to his position shaking his head. When Rachan Wattanadumrong fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ban Ai Phlai's protests and gave Rachan Wattanadumrong a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ban Ai Phlai getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rachan Wattanadumrong hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Wiroj Boriboonphun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sukit Jamparueng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience was convinced that Sittikon Pingyos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sukit Jamparueng was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When Worawat Cheetanom came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tha Khun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Worawat Cheetanom couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Tha Khun's goal looked a bit too open when Pairach Boriboonphun came free, but Sukit Jamparueng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sukit Jamparueng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachan Wattanadumrong in the 41st minute of the match. Worawat Cheetanom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Weerachai Vavdaw came out and tried to block the shot, but Worawat Cheetanom slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thanabordee Niwate to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Worawat Cheetanom notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ban Ai Phlai's Weerachai Vavdaw. Weerachai Vavdaw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 67 minutes of play, Tha Khun's Chainarong Kinetic made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Weerachai Vavdaw was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Chainarong Kinetic fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tha Khun's protests and gave Chainarong Kinetic a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Tha Khun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chainarong Kinetic to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Ban Ai Phlai's Wiroj Boriboonphun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sukit Jamparueng. Sukit Jamparueng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. If Thanit Paesangchun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sukit Jamparueng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pairach Boriboonphun in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tha Khun's Nareupat Sangkrajay got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ban Ai Phlai's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tha Khun had won, even though Ban Ai Phlai had held more of the ball.
