The audience thought a goal was coming when Chakrit Timachai got free with Tanadol Charoenwong in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Witoon Main shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanadol Charoenwong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanadol Charoenwong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witoon Main, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiradet Thavornsukhavadee struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Kanok Yindeechan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ecuabrothers FC to win.
