When Ratikorn Khamopas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Red Star FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ratikorn Khamopas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Red Star FC booed when Dhungnoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nattapon Tinsuwan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ratikorn Khamopas kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 13thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Dhungnoi's keeper Subannet Kenghnu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Kang Bin Jun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chawalit Pingyos in the 21st minute of the match. If Ratikorn Khamopas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Thanawat Wastanagoun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Star FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thanawat Wastanagoun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Subannet Kenghnu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ratikorn Khamopas got free with Subannet Kenghnu in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kang Bin Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chawalit Pingyos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Ronnapob Posapsopa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kang Bin Jun. Red Star FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronnapob Posapsopa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Red Star FC's Ratikorn Khamopas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Subannet Kenghnu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Red Star FC's Ratikorn Khamopas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ratikorn Khamopas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dhungnoi's Chawalit Pingyos got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ratikorn Khamopas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Thanawat Wastanagoun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Star FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ratikorn Khamopas in the 75th minute of play forced Dhungnoi's goalkeeper Subannet Kenghnu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Dhungnoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nattapon Tinsuwan to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Leonard Paprotny sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Subannet Kenghnu skillfully saved the ball. In the 79th minute, Ittipon Chantawichian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Paprotny took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Subannet Kenghnu. Dhungnoi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Mehmet Hakkı Yalaza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Subannet Kenghnu. Dhungnoi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Hakkı Yalaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 86th minute, Thanawat Wastanagoun made a precise shot to the right of Subannet Kenghnu. Dhungnoi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The audience was convinced that Ratikorn Khamopas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Subannet Kenghnu was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Red Star FC's Kang Bin Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chawalit Pingyos in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Dhungnoi got a freekick which was hit by Sompoth Tanomwong. There was no doubt that Red Star FC were the better team. Red Star FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
