In the 18th minute Tawagrit Waiyarup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tawagrit Numphoung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torn Jamroen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tawagrit Numphoung read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Phitsanu Tongou succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. If Tawagrit Waiyarup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Kittipoj Soiyodthong put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tawagrit Numphoung. Ban Dong Prakham's supporters rose to their feet, but Kittipoj Soiyodthong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tawagrit Numphoung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kittipoj Soiyodthong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tawagrit Numphoung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phitsanu Tongou, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Kittipoj Soiyodthong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tawagrit Numphoung having to interfere. Tawagrit Numphoung dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Tawagrit Numphoung successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pawat Onsang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Koranop Buntee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phitsanu Tongou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Phitsanu Tongou fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tawagrit Numphoung, passed just outside the right post. If Kittipoj Soiyodthong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torn Jamroen got free with Tawagrit Numphoung in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tawagrit Waiyarup came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ban Dong Prakham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tawagrit Waiyarup couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ban Dong Prakham booed when Van Pa Khaem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrapoom Chomchoei didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Sompong Nutplang notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Van Pa Khaem's Tawagrit Numphoung. Tawagrit Numphoung was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Kittipoj Soiyodthong came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ban Dong Prakham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kittipoj Soiyodthong couldn't finish the play. The Van Pa Khaem fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ban Dong Prakham were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
