After a defensive mix-up in Van Pa Khaem's zone, Ratikorn Khamopas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tawagrit Numphoung came out of the goal and Ratikorn Khamopas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, Chalit Senanarong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kang Bin Jun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ratikorn Khamopas got free with Tawagrit Numphoung in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ratikorn Khamopas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Tawagrit Numphoung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kang Bin Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuttee Tamboon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thanawat Wastanagoun got free with Tawagrit Numphoung in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Isara Plaishingha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kang Bin Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Red Star FC's Ratikorn Khamopas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tawagrit Numphoung made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ratikorn Khamopas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 32nd playminute. Ratikorn Khamopas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Van Pa Khaem's goal looked a bit too open when Thanawat Wastanagoun came free, but Tawagrit Numphoung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Van Pa Khaem's Tawagrit Numphoung got control of the ball when Ratikorn Khamopas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanawat Wastanagoun struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tawagrit Numphoung didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Star FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 67th match minute, Red Star FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Parinya Jammuang to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Wat Plangrotewatana hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Tawagrit Numphoung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanawat Wastanagoun, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Tawagrit Numphoung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ratikorn Khamopas in the 76th minute of the match. If Lukasz Sidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Lukasz Sidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Wat Plangrotewatana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Star FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wat Plangrotewatana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tawagrit Numphoung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tawagrit Numphoung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ratikorn Khamopas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Kang Bin Jun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nuttee Tamboon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 91 minute of play. Red Star FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
