Sadayut Thanateerasud charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sadayut Thanateerasud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sadayut Thanateerasud got free with Killian Armada in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. HuaHin City's Pimarn Pansri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Durongrit Khamwong, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Carlo Petrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koronis Corona, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Carlo Petrini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koronis Corona's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique de Marseille's goalkeeper Carlo Petrini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Koronis Corona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chanboon Saedan to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koronis Corona in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlo Petrini saved Olympique de Marseille from getting behind. Carlo Petrini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koronis Corona in the 90th minute. Heriberto Haedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Olympique de Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Koronis Corona came free, but Carlo Petrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
