Miguel Procopio lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taiwan Engineers Company! Taiwan Engineers Company:s Raul Lucero showed great skill when he stopped Pit Sanghirun:s penalty. 12 minutes into the game, Bilbao Baggins's Pit Sanghirun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Lucero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 21 minutes into the game, Napapon Nasoongnearn lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Raul Lucero. A collision led to Bilbao Baggins getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Pit Sanghirun hit a great ball. Gideon Faturrahman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Sifon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Napapon Nasoongnearn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Mariano Sifon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taiwan Engineers Company fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a rather tough play, Bilbao Baggins's Wilfredo Poncio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Raul Lucero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bilbao Baggins's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pit Sanghirun in the 35th minute. Bilbao Baggins's Pit Sanghirun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Raul Lucero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 42 minutes into the match, Taiwan Engineers Company's goal looked a bit too open when Pit Sanghirun came free, but Raul Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pit Sanghirun succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Napapon Nasoongnearn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raul Lucero. That made the score 5-1 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Napapon Nasoongnearn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Mariano Sifon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gideon Faturrahman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bilbao Baggins's Gideon Faturrahman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kidsada Maneewan in the 59th minute of play. Kidsada Maneewan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gideon Faturrahman having to interfere. Boonwong Chitprapai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gideon Faturrahman having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Monchai Sirirattanothai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gideon Faturrahman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kidsada Maneewan in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Taiwan Engineers Company was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Mondragon to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Napapon Nasoongnearn in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Lucero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Sifon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gideon Faturrahman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bilbao Baggins fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taiwan Engineers Company had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
