The Chiang Mai Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paiboon Phatthanasing should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sayan Kitiwinit in the 12th minute of play forced Chiang Mai Football Club's goalkeeper Paiboon Phatthanasing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Chiang Mai Football Club's goalkeeper Paiboon Phatthanasing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sayan Kitiwinit. Paiboon Phatthanasing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kachakon Vibulpan in the 15th minute of the match. Thani Mettarikanon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Paiboon Phatthanasing made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Chiang Mai Football Club's goalkeeper Paiboon Phatthanasing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sayan Kitiwinit. Paiboon Phatthanasing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Stejaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Paiboon Phatthanasing successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 36 minutes into the match, Kachakon Vibulpan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paiboon Phatthanasing, 6-0. Kachakon Vibulpan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paiboon Phatthanasing having to interfere. Thani Mettarikanon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paiboon Phatthanasing came out and tried to block the shot, but Thani Mettarikanon slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Sayan Kitiwinit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paiboon Phatthanasing. Chiang Mai Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sayan Kitiwinit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wisan Hangmui made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Gavril Stejaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paiboon Phatthanasing was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. 60 minutes into the match, Sayan Kitiwinit notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Chiang Mai Football Club's Paiboon Phatthanasing. Paiboon Phatthanasing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paiboon Phatthanasing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kachakon Vibulpan in the 63rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Durongrit Siriboon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kachakon Vibulpan might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paiboon Phatthanasing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kachakon Vibulpan ran back to his position shaking his head.
