After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Leysus Pardede made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jaka Tohir made a precise shot to the right of Chandra Korey. PS Samboe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Imam Purwanto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Imam Purwanto came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by PS Samboe's Leonard Abidin. But to his dismay, Leonard Abidin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Imam Purwanto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Abidin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Leysus Pardede blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chandra Korey having to make a save. Putra Tjibereng's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
