In the 12th minute, Ceppy Sihotang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yusuf Surahman. The goal made the score 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonggo Wenas got free with Yusuf Surahman in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceppy Sihotang in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yusuf Surahman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yusuf Surahman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceppy Sihotang in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Teras FC's goalkeeper Yusuf Surahman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonggo Wenas. In the 26th minute Ceppy Sihotang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yusuf Surahman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yusuf Surahman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceppy Sihotang in the 32nd minute of the match. Bonggo Wenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Surahman having to interfere. Ceppy Sihotang was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. FreeYork FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ceppy Sihotang struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Yusuf Surahman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FreeYork FC. 42 minutes into the match, Teras FC's goalkeeper Yusuf Surahman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonggo Wenas. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Purnomo Kartawidjaja to make the kick off. If Bonggo Wenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Munir Harmoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hendi Budiarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Teras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Purnomo Kartawidjaja to maneuver through the defense. Bonggo Wenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Karel Djorghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FreeYork FC had played much better football throughout.
