Tata Tirtayasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Putra Djangailulu getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Asep Rinaldi hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on Makirowan's corner Hesky Himawan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Donald Kamandanu quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie Siagian got free with Donald Kamandanu in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Miftah Mandaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Asep Rinaldi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Makirowan's Miftah Mandaga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Donald Kamandanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miftah Mandaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonçalo Brás came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Putra Djangailulu's Tata Tirtayasa. But to his dismay, Tata Tirtayasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Makirowan's Hesky Himawan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Donald Kamandanu. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Putra Djangailulu's Donald Kamandanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Indonesianus in the 51st minute of play. Donald Kamandanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miftah Mandaga went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Donald Kamandanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miftah Mandaga in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Putra Djangailulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tata Tirtayasa to maneuver through the defense. Sultan Avianto's late challenge caught a Makirowan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sultan Avianto helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Putra Djangailulu defense, Edwin Samiaji kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donald Kamandanu. The Putra Djangailulu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donald Kamandanu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 71 minutes, Miftah Mandaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makirowan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miftah Mandaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match Hesky Himawan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donald Kamandanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Putra Djangailulu's Donald Kamandanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Siagian in the 76th minute of play. Makirowan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Putra Djangailulu the free kick. Steven Indonesianus hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Miftah Mandaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putra Djangailulu's Donald Kamandanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Makirowan's Miftah Mandaga in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Putra Djangailulu's goalie prevented a goal. Miftah Mandaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Kamandanu having to interfere. When Sultan Avianto came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Putra Djangailulu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sultan Avianto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Samiaji in the 91st minute of play forced Putra Djangailulu's goalkeeper Donald Kamandanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Makirowan's Robbie Siagian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donald Kamandanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Makirowan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
