Nasir Papilaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garuda Junior. Nasir Papilaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilbert Muchtaji in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Tyo Budiono reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nasir Papilaya. The goal made the score 2-1. Gilbert Muchtaji struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Nasir Papilaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garuda Junior. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tyo Budiono was the one to do the kick off. Septian Asmawi's late challenge caught a Nanasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyo Budiono ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Garuda Junior booed when Nanasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponirin Marasabessy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Muchtaji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasir Papilaya having to interfere. Tyo Budiono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nasir Papilaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
