Desta Hudaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catur Antono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, M. Ridwan Manoppo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Catur Antono came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the PS Muaradjuloi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catur Antono couldn't finish the play. Catur Antono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desta Hudaya having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Catur Antono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Desta Hudaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Desta Hudaya came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by PS Muaradjuloi's Catur Antono. But to his dismay, Catur Antono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Catur Antono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Desta Hudaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, PS Muaradjuloi's goalkeeper Eduard Sitompul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by M. Ridwan Manoppo. Sunar Taroreh's late challenge caught a PS Muaradjuloi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sunar Taroreh helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SILUMAN KOBRA FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sunar Taroreh hit a great ball. Desta Hudaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ledi Arsah in the 42nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toni Herawan during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Toni Herawan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Ledi Arsah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desta Hudaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nasrul Anggadikusumah kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If M. Ridwan Manoppo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Firdaus Tarusbawa made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Ledi Arsah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jajat Meringgi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in PS Muaradjuloi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Sunar Taroreh shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Firdaus Tarusbawa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eduard Sitompul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If M. Ridwan Manoppo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SILUMAN KOBRA FC's Nasrul Anggadikusumah pulled a muscle in his leg after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The corner ended in Sunar Taroreh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PS Muaradjuloi's Eduard Sitompul did a great save. 83 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SILUMAN KOBRA FC's Toni Herawan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After having played for 85 minutes, Hamdani Khaidir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SILUMAN KOBRA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamdani Khaidir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduard Sitompul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from M. Ridwan Manoppo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The PS Muaradjuloi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PS Muaradjuloi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
