Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

After having played for 78 minutes, Djalil Hendrayana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waroeti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djalil Hendrayana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Warsidi Afiffudin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Vincentius Mustari skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Todung Apriantara came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Moealang FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Todung Apriantara couldn't finish the play. Vincentius Mustari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Warsidi Afiffudin in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Waroeti FC's Deden Kaunang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vincentius Mustari. Vincentius Mustari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. When the match was over Waroeti FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Moealang FC throughout the match.
